I liked this one. Just the right mix of red herrings and knowledge needed is not too specialized. Not sure about "light ray" though.

I'm pretty sure light ray isn't a thing (x-rays, radio waves, etc. are all types of light). I still enjoyed it, and it required a good mix of thinking and a bit of outside knowledge.

The greek letters feel unfair, since there's 6 of them. If you tested it with Tau, Pi, Gamma and Delta, or something along those lines, you might reasonably assume that greek letters isn't the connection.

Very nice but quite simple. Red herrings across all four. For other, whether a light ray is a 'thing' is a very good question, as it can ambiguously be either a particle (thing) or a wave (ray). But 'light ray ' is certainly a term used in physics and indeed in literature e.g. Milton
