I once read an interview with one of Only Connect's question setters in which they said they try and devise the walls to test a variety of different strands of general knowledge: one set of links might be anagrams or hidden words, another was related culture or the arts, another might be to do with science, etc.

Obviously this is far from the first wall to ignore this approach, but, by jove, it's frustrating when a wall zeroes in on one singular niche topic.

Also, it's unfair to expect anyone who doesn't live in London to have the knowledge to solve this. And, amazingly, lots and lots of people don't (and I say that as a born-and-bred Londoner). I'm sorry, but I think this is a poor wall. Accurate and error-free, but not much fun.
