Excellent grid, but I'd rate it as hard.

5/10 I would say it's hard. Got to decipher the crossword clues before matching...but once you find the pattern, it eases up a bit.

I like this. the red herring is in the type of group - 3 groups of one type then a fourth group of a different type. Almost nailed it

Bonehead (nice pseudonym). The "party" line was intended as a clue to the general theme. It's hard to know who's American on this site but, in case you didn't know, Lib, Lab, and Con are standard abbreviations of the names of the three major political parties in Britain.

@Orlando American here. Got 4/10 by spotting Lib and Lab, but flummoxed on the rest because I didn't know that fact and was looking for "Lob" or something to fill out the pattern.

Good, though provoking grid. Didn't get the Injured connection as was looking for a solution along the same lines as the others (managed defraud). Definitely 'hard' but not complaining!
