Just 3/10. Got the Moe and co straight away because the phrases were so odd they could only be hiding something. Spent the rest of the time time fruitlessly searching for gardens because I knew two of them. A tough one.

Agree with Orlando, the 'odd' phrases gave away an otherwise clever connection. As I spotted the "Rose" group very quickly too, the other two groups fell into place quite quickly. I enjoyed this overall, but it could have been refined a little further to add more challenge. Thanks!

I feel this would be improved if you picked slightly more obscure groups and then better-known members of them, rather than quite obvious groups and then members that many people won't have heard of.

The way this grid is put together, it's just a matter of pot luck whether a player is aware of this arcane knowledge.

I haven't done one in a while. I'd be fixated on the fact that if you drop qu from quadric, you get the name of probably the most memorable Doctor who companion Adric. Admittedly not my best work, but one I wanted out of my head.
