Ridiculous. The Scrabble one is absolutely stupid. I don't just mean you need to be seriously clever to get it, I mean literally nobody would ever get it. It's too vague. It might as well be "contains a vowel". Grow up.

Take it down a few notches, Erik.

More constructively: Yes, the Kumquat line is far too broad. *Maybe* if the words had those letters multiple times, or something. The Lemon line is fine but it feels like the "hidden words" are too transparent in three of them compared to the fourth.

I assume there's a shadow group involving "mango & lime" that I am not familiar with due to my geography. Otherwise those are weird choices.

Thanks for the work!

Byzantine, and not in a good way. Try to imagine someone else trying to solve it. If there is no logical way in (too obscure), then it's better to pick a different link.

Yeah, so no. I can see the idea- create a false group of nandos coatings- but the extra hot scrabble group is a fail. Sometimes you have to go back to the drawing board

If you can't handle the heat...

But yes, perhaps the Scrabble one was a bit too much of a stretch, but sometimes you've gotta give something new a whirl and on this occasion it seems it hasn't whirled well

I agree with Mister Tom and JonBob... I never mind failing to solve a grid when I kick myself for missing the group or connection, or it's just an subject I'm unfamiliar with. Haywood sums it up nicely, every grid needs an entry point.
