"initial" was not accepted...but for the verb category I had no idea and I wrote "horse" and it was called correct! I only said that because the Travers horse race in Saratoga was the only place I'd heard that word.

Seconding the comments about the different things the authors category could be that weren't accepted. Including just 'authors'. But nice, and tricky grid with some great red herrings.
