I have no idea how this still works but I think it does. For some reason I did five groups of 4, instead of four groups. Only realised when testing the grid. Feckin' idiot.

Not understanding your explanation but I presume this resulted in the ditty group being a bit off? I learned something with the carpet group - thanks.

It left me with no red herrings for the carpet group. That particular herring was in the fifth unused group I had.
