I applaud the creativity in the Comic group, but unfortunately it seems obscure to me. Even after reading the explanations, I'd heard of only one of those.

Good grid except the "Buster" row was probably the most obscure group ever on puzzgrid. Congratulations!

Difficult! I think the "buster" line was a bit impenetrable. Who's ever heard of Bad Manners, let alone the lead singer (outside the UK)? While "comic" is far too general. "Five Find-Outers"? A cultural reference I just didn't get. Of all the Enid Blyton writings, these didn't make it anywhere near the Southern Hemisphere.
