Missing final e group a bit weak. GoT getting a bit yawn-worthy, especially as not everyone into it. Agree Tolkein stuff a bit niche too, but is classic literature and most people heard of Bilbo and Frodo.

Yeah, it's definitely a grid that favours fans of fantasy. But that being said, I'd argue that having a spot of general knowledge about a subject doesn't mean you have to be 'into it'.
Squiggle - I agree about the missing 'e' group. After writing it up, I felt more like "that'll do" than "that's a great group". Bit lazy of me. :P
