Wow, good luck anyone getting those links.......barring one group, verging on the impossible

I can't tell if the connection linking one of the groups is racist or not, because I can't quite figure out the author's moon logic.

The smartphone connection is ridiculously tenuous.

The remaining two groups are reasonable, although I'd never heard of vanilla blonde. That could just be a lack of general knowledge on my part, however.

The banana group felt rather cliched -- like the members of Queen or the Beckham children, I'm sure I've seen those in a hundred grids by now.

Overall, really not a good grid. Sorry.

Err, sorry if I was being overly harsh, and sorry if I'm wrong about that first group.

I wasn't keen on the orange group- didn't seem to make obvious sense.

Ok, I think I now see how the members of the orange group fit together. I shouldn't have been so hasty to comment.

I still feel that two of the four groups/connections are overly abstruse, but I should have worded my comment better. My apologies once again.

Piglet- no worries and apologies to any Oompa Loompas who were offended. We started with fruits to make our grid and the phone one was a bit of a stretch.

Thanks for sharing what the starting point for the grid was. Though fairly obvious in retrospect, I hadn't noticed it.

Some (hopefully) constructive criticism: I think it would have made for a better grid if you had included more detailed explanations of each of the solutions -- particularly in the case of the orange leaders (not saying this to shift the blame for my earlier blunder; it simply would have been interesting to know).
