Play online connecting walls inspired by Only Connect. Thousands of grids, with more added every day.
Not a fan of connections that rely on intimate knowledge of one particular TV series, film, etc. (I mean, if it's Hamlet or Star Wars or something similarly well-known and/or influential, then it's arguably a different story).
The rest was quite clever and pretty tough (I got 1/10, and that 1 was sheer luck!). The group with "pie" I should probably have been able to guess in retrospect.
My favourite group/connection was the one with "silence" (which I didn't manage to solve).

Tbh, you don't need 'intimate knowledge' of IASIP to know who the main five characters are.
Also, they're all common first names, so you could easily guess the group without knowing the connection.
Anyway, it made my day that was a group and that typing 'The Gang' got me the points. Got stuck on apple things and otherwise didn't do very well but the IASIP mention made this my favourite grid of the week, tbh!

It all depends on if you prefer a quiz or a puzzle. the fact that I spotted the group easily but had no idea who they were detracts in my opinion, but that is because I love a good puzzle and enjoy engaging lateral thinking over memory. I like that this site has a variety of styles.
