I think "Gospel Writers" would have been a tighter connection that works. However, nice grid with a few red herrings.

It’s a decent grid, but I feel like the connections are a little too obvious. The gospel writers for example, don’t have a red herring, it’s just four normal names in a grid that is otherwise without (real) names.

An alternative, valid connection for the Charm group is that they are still real words if you remove the first letter .
