you can swap a couple of the CHERRY and APPLE clues over and the grid would still be correct, therefor it doesn't have a unique solution. This can happen when you try and squeeze a lot of crossovers in

I think every grid on here is inspired by 'Only Connect' but it needs to have a unique solution or it doesn't work

Only Connect is explicit that grids have to have only a single solution. (Which makes sense, because it's just common sense that if they don't they're nearly impossible to solve in just three minutes).
