Red herrings threw me off bad. Spent way too long clicking all the different letter homophones and it wasn't even a group lol

Great grid! I was about to grumble that we had yet another puzzle with "words that sound like letters" as an answer but you'd been cleverer than that!

Man, the shock when I put the last four letter homophones in and it was rejected. That took me a couple of seconds to recover from. Kudos on the great fake out (and on not having yet another grid with letter homophones as a group). Great work too on the crossovers - they all worked really well IMHO.

How did i fail so spectacularly?There was a whole set of red-herrings-words that sounded like letters-Pea,Eye ect. I was totally fooled and spent too much time on it. Nice one Mister Tom!! I see I wasn`t the only one :-D
