ha! didn't spot the Americanisms 'cos I saw your flag and assumed it was just how you spelled! Doh! Didn't like it at first as all one thing but it grew on me- then I struggled

Whiskey with an E isn't an americanised spelling. It's the difference between scottish or irish whisky. It is used when referring to american whiskey yes, however that's not the root of the word.

Maybe it's my age but i've also never ever heard of money reffered to as cabbage. Though that may be my end.

I'd also suggest pepperoni instead of bacon for the pizza link, never heard of bacon on pizza. Ham or pepperoni yes, not bacon though.
