This is my third time trying to get this up - ignore 24806 and 24809 if you can get them to open (I couldn't) - they are exactly the same grid.

This might annoy some - don't get too cross - it's just for fun - just trying to channel Lorna with her last one - and no doubt failing miserably.

I absolutely loved it!!!! SEVERAL attempts but so worth the wait and the work, on both our parts! A few I couldn't get, mostly due to not knowing some references, but in the main part they worked. I'd possibly have gone for synonyms rather than examples, eg. "limb in feline"- but they all definitely worked- it just depends on how hard you want to make it. Impressive work and great subject matter. Obviously 5 and 5!!!

Thanks Lorna - Tad 'pythony' maybe - awaiting the backlash on that. I used to love the truecockney grids - did you ever do any of those?

I'm still around, Giggsy... set up a few and they may be about 5/6 pages down now! Could not get my head around this one though...

Got the python ok. As I've said before, truecockney was the reason I started submitting my own. Absolutely love a bit of lateral thinking. Getting a lot of flack from purists and haters- I just don't get it- if you don't like curry don't complain that it's on the menu- just don't order it! There's something for everyone! If I open a grid and its ALL football/ celebs, I'll spend a few secs, maybe give up, move on with my life. Not have a 3 paragraph rant about it! Sheesh.

Couldn't agree more - I often open them and after a few secs think 'Nahhh, not for me' Usually ones with all numbers or clearly GOT, HP or LOTR characters/refs which is not a strong suit. Anyway, love yours and nice to hear from truecockney who is a ledge - I will go and search for your latest grids.
