It's tough to gauge the difficulty level. I originally had the last 2 words for each saying but when I looked at it, it seemed too easy with "your pants" and "big pond" giving the whole game away

I think you made the right decision. I like grids where once you twig you get it right away, but you need that moment. Unfortunately for me I didn't get that today but I must stress that I do love your grids- always original and fun and it's so nice to have something different to solve!
