Far from unique and very poor

Hi Marshmallow, I hope you're OK with a bit of puzzgrid advice- when you add clues to your 4 groups, try to make sure that they can only fit in their own group, or if they can swap into another group (a red herring/ crossover) that this can only happen one way. For example, If I had red orange yellow green and blue in a grid, and red yellow green blue ere in a group of colours, and orange was in a group of fruits, you'd have to make sure that the rest of the fruit group are NOT names of colours (plum, lemon, lime etc.) as these could swap with orange. Direct swaps mean that the grid is not unique so not so good, I'm afraid. One way swaps (red herrings) are fine as they make the grid more interesting and challenging. I really hope this is helpful and not offensive, best of luck with future grids and do keep trying- the more people join in and have a go the better the site; we've all had wobbly starts and made mistakes but you've had some nice ideas so keep it up! :) Lorna x
