two of the answers are showing as incorrect, which you might have got correct. if so, just check the explanation and you'll see that you actually got the answers correct

Got them all but as Christo says, does not accept "shark" or "king". Also last line does not accept "books". A shame as it is a very good grid, made better by having no celebs, Harry Potter or Cluedo clues !

Hmm - what the heck is wrong with king for goodness sake. Lost a star from me as I was doing ok otherwise. I'm taking full marks. How can the comments ever be constructive when a setter can't amend his/her grid once posted???

One of the drawbacks of this otherwise brilliant website is the inability for the setter to edit their own work- if you make a mistake all you can do is resubmit; neither is it possible to save your initial for to easily edit. If a mistake is big enough some of us will go to the trouble, but to be fair to this setter you can't expect everyone to- especially if its in the points not awarded family of complaints. Just mentally award yourself the points if you know you're right! I hope it doesn't spoil your fun :)

I don’t understand why seeing a 10 on your screen matters. I don’t even bother typing in my connection when solving. I click the ? and if the reason matches what I thought, that’s a point. I don’t have to see it.
The website generally seems to be in a Catch 22. It’s great as a free site. If we were paying we’d want loads more functionality, but then the numbers playing and setting would drop off a cliff and the site would die. I think we just have to accept it as it is and make do, (and be grateful to the site owners).
