Nice grid. But 'pony' and 'worm' not accepted as correct answers for connection is strange.

This was a lot of fun but I think that as there's a New Forest native pony it's not a unique solution, as it could swap entirely (ie not a red herring) with any of the National Parks in the pony group; I loved the earth group, that was inspired! nice grid, thanks
