This is the very first grid I ever made. I don't know how hard or easy it will be, but it was fun to create it!

Near was a new one on me - always nice to learn something.

If I was an old pedant I might query the spelling of the answer for lot (I think you need 2 ts).

Jahn, thank you so much for your kind words! I do think I have goofed up on slot, looking into it a bit further. I did a quick search before using it, but must have misread the results. I'll try to be more thorough next time.

A lot = plenty
Alot = word that doesn’t exist
Slot = _________ machine

I'm sorry, BinDipper, I did make a mistake. "Alot" is definitely the wrong spelling. Also, in my earlier explanation, the spell checker kept changing alot to slot. Maybe it did the same in your comment (?) This was my first ever grid. Will try to do better. :-)
