What ? Naming of the months of the year ? 8, Augustus, Mars, a Roman Dictator ? They were numbered 8-10 in Roman times and JULIUS was added in 44 BC and AUGUSTUS in 8 BC. MARTIUS was originally the first month named after Mars.
How you are supposed to get those 4 in a line is beyond me.

Not to quibble with the eminent OcE, but Julius and Augustus were not so much added as used to rename the existing Quinctilis (5th month) and Sextilis (6th month) which proceeded from the first month, Martius, named for Mars. Following that line, 8 gives rise to October.
Ergo, seems like a good set to me. I would have maybe replaced "Augustus" with "first emperor" as its a bit on the nose.
Given your comment as a hint, it was quite an easy board from there. Otherwise it may have been more challenging.
