As well as in jazz bands, trumpeters, trombonists, saxophonists, and drummers all appear in most marching bands. You usually see all but saxophonists in orchestras, but I've seen a saxophonist play in an orchestra too. They're all simply musicians. Calling the category "members of a jazz band" is just hyper-specific in the wrong way. If you're going to make the category so specific, its items must never appear together anywhere else, at least taken all together.

Also, is making everything plural sufficiently justified by the categories themselves? It appears to be merely a troll, making everything look the same.

"Instrumentalists" should be the basic connection for that group.
