these grids with similar catagories always trip me up

Rubbish... words from 90s groups.. that's stupid.
The parliamentary system one is a bit crap too.

Sorry, this is a really poor grid. Thanks so much for going to the effort to compile it, but I agree with Joe - nobody will get the 90s electronic groups, 2 colour flags, maybe just about, the countries with a parliamentary system there are just simply too many of them, again I bet nobody gets this correct apart from by luck, and the airlines was doable, but Virgin is Virgin Atlantic of course. Just too many flaws to be fun I am afraid.

Have to echo these comments, I managed to solve the grid through pure luck, airlines are doable and the 2 color flag countries was a total whim guess that I'm frankly still surprised was correct. The other two, no shot

The electronic musicians were Aphex Twin, The Orb, The Chemical Brothers, and Boards of Canada. Perhaps my occupation as a DJ makes me biased, but those 4 are titans of the genre that are very reasonable to ask about. The countries were rather tricky, I admit. My intent was for the flag group to be the easier one- then again, I am a vexillology nerd, so perhaps I should not have assumed that flags would be a go-to avenue for every player.

It's hard to strike a chord with everybody- although it wasn't my cup of tea exactly and I had no chance of solving this, I appreciate that when people write what they know it allows for more variety of grids, and sometimes you learn something (vexillology- great word!) Even a brilliantly constructed grid can be dragged down, I feel, by having 1 or more cliched or overused categories, so thanks for being a bit different :)
