Excellent grid, really like that type, as per Caz enjoyed it.
Spotted the plot almost straight away, but couldn't resolve the wall.

Thank you Lawner, to mess with your handle. I have enjoyed playing with and opposing genuine quality puzzlers like yourself. To take what is a "simple" format and come up with startling and beautifully different ideas is a joy. You know who I am talking about, the established and is great to see new setters finding yet another e.g Tamarind - Outstanding. However you will have noticed I am finding it harder and harder to listen to Les Autres without retaliation. I KNOW it is the wrong thing to do, but...... Therefore I must walk away.... Ah stjohn- I respect your decision but it will be a loss- do come back soon- when good setters leave because of the downside of this comments page it always feels like the trolls have scored one- but I understand if it's getting a bit grating. And thank you for all the kind words and positivity :)

Oh no! I am so sorry. Couldn't you just ignore them - I try to? Such a shame to lose your company. Maybe, just take a breather and come back in a while refreshed. Please don't give up on something you enjoy.

Dons tin hat. The main rule of this type of puzzle is that there can only be one answer that solves the grid. In this case there a myriad of correct answers? First four odd numbers, first four even numbers etc. They are not true connections.

Also, to turn something on its head usually implies a rotation of 180 degrees not 90.

I understand the entertainment value and that was a nice effort but rules are rules..........
