Crap

This is rubbish!

I thought it was brilliant- a lot of work went in and I learned a lot (aha ha group). I don't think that the backwards words technically count as palindromes (they'd have to read the same both ways, eg Hannah) but this did not detract from a very well thought out, entertaining and playable grid, thank you :)

I really like the idea and the insects are interesting (though impossible to guess. Even if I google these words, barely anything comes up). Some names are a bit too obscure, too. Traeh? And what is Axel, apart from just another name? So bottom line, I like the idea and I love a grid that has a common theme and a little wordplay, but some words could have been more carefully chosen.

Thank you for your comments guys. This was my first attempt and I also used levidrome and ananym as well as palindrome to cover all options. I've always been a bit nervous about submitting a grid but (despite the first very 2 negative comments) I might have another go. Particularly appreciate Lorna's comments as I love your grids. ty

You are most welcome! I've learned to pay little heed to scores or negative comments- I'm in it for a bit of fun and mental exercise, and for the (perhaps minority) community of like minded folks who enjoy what I/ we do. My main concern is that bad reviews will scare newbies off or regulars who get fed up with the constant whinge- fest. So I'm delighted by your comment- please keep it up- an amazing start! Remember it's only a game! :D :D (BTW Kuba's comment: constructive criticism, so fine in my book- meant kindly and helpful- more how to do it than the plain negging)
