I don't accept that left has two meanings that are opposite; they are different but not opposite. Likewise bound.

Left: Can means both, what is remaining and has gone.
What is Left? (what is remaining)
What has left? (what has gone)
Both can be contracted to:
What's Left? (which has both opposite definitions)

Bound can mean both moving and an inability to move.

the contronyms line is utterly and totally obscure. better words could have been used. however, you looked these up - would you yourself ever have got this???!!!!
