I'm from the U S and feel the same about all the British puzzles featuring British gameshows. If one is fair, the other is.

Nice grid. The first letter category got me. And having all the sins in there was well done, and impossible to cycle.

flock/grail/blend/pride being "words that become a verb when you remove the first letter" is really really bad. Flock and Blend are already verbs, and lock, rail, and ride can all be nouns. I would suggest swapping Blend and Grail for two words that can be groups of animals, like Pride (lions) and Flock (birds).
