A big thank-you to all those who put up grids, especially since March; from the brilliant to the beginners, the downright weird, and the truly wonderful; they have brightened many a day. This grid is for you.

Setters; this is a long game. Don't make new grids or comment because of the impersonation problem. It would be helpful if Puzzgrid could stop people making new grids at some point. Our goal is long term protection on the site, not pissing about with one set of trolls. Some sites have volunteer moderators - a thought for the future.
We're sure you've all found and followed general advice on trolling. We watch and wait. Our love and thoughts are with you m'dears.

Players; the site has been attacked by trolls since last Wednesday (17.03.21). They make grids targeted at setters, with themes of sex and violence designed to intimidate, but trying to make them look like normal grids if you're not the target. They also impersonate setters by taking their names and putting them on their own grids and comments (which the site currently allows!). Please play older grids for now. There are plenty of them. Thanks

Ducky here (where else!). Is this change enough for you? I'm flying blind and am obviously the Forrest Gump of cryptic at the best of times. Dearest setters, you must make your own decisions. I'm really not sure at this point how it will pan out if we go back to normal, but we can see. Speak plainly if you want to.
