Your grid is awesome! Please make some more grids like that.

We do need more grids like this that are not too hard but so as not to put off new players please try to make the answers less specific. Please put parts of the essential words divided by commas in the appropriate section when setting the grid and don't be put off too easily. Everyone who tries gets criticised sometimes.

banana is spelt incorrectly and when I keyed in fruit as the answer, it didn't give it . . .

Answers were too specific, e.g. Types of power not accepted, nor was fruit
Also banana is usually spelt with only two 'n's and not three.

How is Mario Brothers characters different to Characters in Mario Brothers?!

I second Toast's comment. It's good to have more people making more puzzles. I screwed up a couple of my first efforts the other day and had to ask for them to be deleted. Unfortunately there's no going back to edit once they have been submitted. That's no slight; I understand the desire to keep it all straightforward and save people from having to create accounts. PuzzGrid is a fun website and I get a lot more than I pay for with it.

The link is stupid. It should just be "Fruit" instead of "Types of Fruit". "Mario Brothers" instead of "Characters from Mario Brothers", etc.

Firstly, I like the red herring in there with Apple as a fruit and computer references. But shouldn't Super Mario Bros. be accepted and not just Mario Bros. For the fruit group I wrote in fruit as the connection and it wasn't accepted. The answer was 'different types of fruit'. How stupid is that?
