For me, the clergy and chess pieces were really easy (even with the red herring of bishop as clergy.) The others were challenging, but I was able to see the link for bars when given the grouping, and I could plausibly have found the other link.

Not everyone is religious, @David. That one was impossible. Literally... Unplayable...

Great puzzle. I'm pretty sure folks who aren't religious have watched a tv show or a movie in their lives and can figure that one out. :)

And a pry bar, for those who don't know, has the same function as a crow bar. I didn't get that one for some reason. Really fun grid!
