One of the easier 'grid of the week's. One group works only if you are imprecise with your vowels. A very satisfying idea of a grid and well put together, thanks.

Good fun, not too hard. The trickiest was the Horrid group, because the definitions were more obscure and the words weren't accurate homophones of each other.
