Good grid, maybe check the group containing Kayak, I'm sure I entered the correct answer but it said incorrect. Didn't spot the group with Dentist... very clever!

I would like the connections to be explained. Having failing to solve the puzzle, I feel like a double failure when I can't apply your connection to all the clues in that group. With some effort (that I would rather you did for me), I worked out everything except for 'Dingy'.
