You were good until "popular male names". That was lazy writing.

This would be really good if "popular male names" were not an incredibly broad, boring category that no one will guess and no one will enjoy guessing. Also the NATO alphabet spelling of Juliett has two T's (so that the French will pronounce it the same as everyone else), so "Juliet" doesn't match.

I appreciate good red herrings, but this puzzle is total B.S. "Popular male names" is a pathetic category to puzzlers looking for meaningful connections. (Just how "popular" are they, anyway? I've never actually met anyone called Victor.) And all those names are also in the NATO alphabet, meaning that must be acceptable as their category too. So you've got two groups in the same category. That's not clever puzzle setting; it's just cheating.
