Some good ideas and nice to see a French grid, but lots of errors let it down. Heir and l'année prochain are spelled wrong (hier, l'année prochaine). I don't know what denier is supposed to be (demain maybe? Dénier, with accented e, means 'to deny' but that doesn't fit the line). The connection in the animaux line isn't strong enough in my mind.

Maybe it was dernier,meaning last?

Even my French is better than this! Three clues with incorrect spellings really let it down.

This grid demonstrates how inadvisable it is to set bi-lingual grids unless you speak both languages fluently. I'm not sure whether Anaconda is a French speaker with awful spelling or an English speaker with awful French and even worse English grammar.

If you are going to use French words, make sure you spell them properly!!
