Excellent grid. Fantastic not to have any snooker, cricket, or obscure albums. The Gray group needs editing though - either Gray has to go, or the word 'play' in your link definition needs to be changed to 'work'.

Great puzzle! I knew what the connections were but my knowledge/familiarity not great enough to tie the groups down. Must read more!

On a very small point: The connection is the last word of play titles not, as stated, the last word of the plays.
