Fam, I think in that line the words are made up of two symbols.

Thanks for trying to explain WVPuzzler, but something in my brain is not engaging because I don’t even know what you mean by that. How can a word be made of two symbols? I looked up Esau and it says elder son of Isaac and the other words are straightforward but the explanation is ‘2, two, chemical elements, symbol’.
Apologies if I’m just being stupid but can you elaborate? Thanks

Sure, for example, take the chemical symbol for cobalt, Co, and the symbol for Neodymium, Ne, put them together and you get the word 'cone'. Einsteinium, Es, and Gold, Au, gives you Esau.

....and by Ne, I meant neon, not neodymium.....
