V.good, but I saw the Perkin group straight away - if I didn't know that, I'd have got nowhere. Edward VI confused me, but after that, the two groups were obvious.

@Midge - it works perfectly well as far as I am concerned. I assumed the nationalities but that is the beauty of a being a puzzle setter, one can throw curve balls. It works when the player realises they have been duped, yet, find it pleasing and rewarding.
