The de group is a bit loose. It works equally well with a suffix of ed.

@Nighteyes, I took another look just to be sure. The "ed" suffix would work for that line, but think that would be really really poor or loose don't you think?.
Plus an "ed" suffix could also be applied to at least five other words [making nine] and that would result in a non-unique solution grid and that is a total "no-no"
