This is very very clever Argon Vile. I couldn’t see anything but the links are very good. I finally guessed the connection for 451 once I’d seen all the others. I won’t spoil it for anyone else who’s going to try so I’ll leave it at that. Brilliant work, ty!

Thanks, Fam! I do feel bad about this grid for three reasons: two of the categories are very American-centric, and one is a knowledge check where you're either familiar with one specific thing or you aren't.

I wouldn’t feel bad about this grid at all Argon Vile! Just being difficult doesn’t make it bad. One of the hardest things on here is to come up with something original and this is a success. It was one of those ones where you wonder if it’s just a nonsense when you can’t make any connections, and then you see it once the grid is resolved and think, ‘ahh that’s clever’. I don’t think it’s American centric, just the one line where we tend to work in different units now making it harder to spot but it is necessary because of one of the clues. Well done!
