Really did enjoy this grid. Just a minor quibble, one of your squares was slightly hidden because of the name length but managed to get it in the end :) All in all 10/10 for originality and for trying something different.

thanks! yes, it's annoying that the LNG at the end of "NVR STYCH L LNG" is missing some of the time.... perhaps PuzzGrid would be kind to delete the space between the L and LNG ?? and that might resolve the problem..

Really enjoyed this one! Tricky even when you've guessed most of the categories, and Only Connect was a fun inclusion.

Tricky combining wall with consonants only round. Twice as much thought needed!

Clever but too obscure, I suspect even for Only Connect!

DLG HTF L! I especially liked FLSH as a crossover because it exploited the ambiguity of the missing vowel, whereas STRG HT was the same word either way.

I enjoyed this one; good & frustrating :)

Bit more obscure, but the red group could also be GENPX (ROT-13).

Got 7 points. The 'line' category was the one I missed. 'Obvious' once told the answer. Clearly I have trouble thinking outside the box :-)

Great wall. Missing vowels is my favourite round on Only Connect so having it combined with a wall was fun. I got the line and camera categories and had identified gameshows as a third but haven't heard of Blockbusters! Poker was a fair category but unfortunately I've never played. Scored a solid 5/10 and learned something new :)

J, yes, the spaces are misleading, but that is based on the way the Missing Vowels round in the game show Only Connect (on which puzzgrid was based) is conducted. You need to work out the words while ignoring the spaces in the clue.
