Why don't you accept frontmen as an answer? The 1980s part is so wrong is laughable. Hendrix died in 1970 for a start, Kurt Cobain had very little fame until 1991 and Dave Grohl was literally a drummer in that same band and didn't become a front man until even later?! Very bizarre.
