I don't think this one works as a grid. Trying to smash a crossword (without any clues to whether the word you get is right) together with this style of grid is just not suitable for a 3 minute solve. I have to write down all my clues which takes time. Not to mention some of the clues are pretty frustrating and don't accurately describe their clues: (Good place to cross = ford, come on...)
