I think you may have a non-unique grid there PG, with chess interchangeable with all those in the Risk group. Maybe the linking word in the chess group is too common?

Thanks BD for comment. Still learning. I'm enjoying trying different things. Board games is a bit of a dull subject though, I agree.

Hi PG. Nah, I think the groups are fine. It’s just that linking word used in the Chess group - it could probably be added to nearly every board game there is and still make sense, even though where you have it is definitely the most common usage.

Yep BD, crossovers make grids more difficult and interesting right? But I do get your point. Thanks.

I genuinely don't get the issue with Chess being in two groups. Isn't that the whole point of red herrings/crossovers? What am I missing? :)

Hi York. It’s not that Chess is in two groups, it’s that, for example, Monopoly pieces are a thing. They are referred to as pieces or sometimes as tokens. So ‘chess’ and ‘monopoly’ can swap places. This means there are two correct answers (a non-unique grid). It’s so easy to do it when you’re making these things. I’m worried about my newest entry because it looks that there might be more than one solution even though I can’t find it.
