Only slight criticism is Resister isnt a word (to my knowledge). Think its resistor. And explanation misses out Corporal punishment (presumably?)

Great ideas. Shame rank wasn't accepted as an answer. @SF7 - the misspelling of resistor is what gave that group away for me. It was like an extra clue to look for hidden words. I find it annoying when words are misspelled and and it turns out it's just because the setter can't spell, they're using a word that doesn't exist as an actual answer, and I waste time looking for hidden words.

Thanks for the feedback - I did mistakenly put colonel punishment instead of corporal punishment in the description. resister however is a word - it describes someone who resists government policies
