Play online connecting walls inspired by Only Connect. Thousands of grids, with more added every day.
I didn't think this puzzle was so bad that it should not be on the default page, so I upvoted it.
I solved two rows, but palindromes jump out at me and I am a musician. Even though I play video games and went to school, I don't think I could have solved the rest with even ten minutes, and I bet the other people rating this puzzle felt the same way about most of the puzzle.
Anagrams are usually very tough to spot, and long ones take a long time to solve. I suggest you use no more than one anagram puzzle on a wall so people have a chance to solve it by default (when people solve the other three). Also, since they are usually tough, anagrams do not need to be tougher with a link to a niche subject, like video game characters. Simple is better, I think.
Replace-a-letter (or add or subtract) puzzles are also easy to frustrate people with. Similar advice if you think to use them.
So those are my suggestions. Please feel free to tell me to pound sand :)
