@Cristobal The abundance of poisonous animals always seems to come up in humor- and top ten articles about Australia. I suspect this notoriety was partly due to nature shows decades ago shown to young kids (me included) where poor Australuans couldn't go to the beach or reach into a cupboard without getting hospitalized by freakish-looking box jellies, blue-ringed octopuses, stone fish, or funnel web spiders.

Anyway, I just used it as a setup for the joke about Vegemite.
