My only quibble is that the Friends group is all very common names, which makes it tough to guess. I'd suggest switching one out for Courteney, the distinctive spelling of which should give a bigger hint.

Good grid. "Head" is used in the military, esp Navy for toilet.

Good ideas, but not a solvable grid except by pure luck. Waterhead is a place name, so Loo and Head could be swapped between groups, which means there were at least two equally valid solutions to the grid. Also, I've never heard of 'head' as slang for lavatory, so that made the setter's version of the full solution impossible for me to find. I saw all four connections well before I ran out of lives, but couldn't sort the final two groups
