I realise this Grid is a bit wasted on those not familiar with The Daily Show. It s a satirical TV-show that has run for 27 years so far, the longest running show in the history of Comedy Central. For a good part of those years, especially during the Bush-era, The Daily Show was the main court-jester in American political discourse.

If your adulthood happened mainly after 2010, you are forgiven for not knowing, but for everybody else it is a fair subject to presume knowledge of.

The Daily Show does tie it to a mainly US audience of a certain age, but otherwise as always a good grid.
