Requiring "Roman" for the group consisting of former names of English cities is incorrect. Yorvik was the Viking name for York, which is post-Roman. The Roman name was Eboracum.

Some good ideas, but needs heavy editing to work as a grid. Jorvik was the Viking name for York , Eboracum was the Roman name,so you've just got two groups of cities that have changed their names, one British and the other everywhere else. Also the longest reigning British monarchs group doesn't need the qualification 'longest reigning' as you have no other British monarchs on the grid.

Agree with the other comments. The only reason I didn't write 'Roman' as a connection for that group is because I saw Jorvik which doesn't look or sound remotely Latin.
